  • Day 1: Kigali Pickup & Transfer Across the Border to Bwindi

  • Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi & Express Return to Kigali

    The Briefing: Fuel up with an early 6:30 AM breakfast. Your guide will transfer you directly to the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) park headquarters. Meet your ranger guides, receive a comprehensive safety briefing, and get assigned to your gorilla family group.

    The Trek: Enter the ancient, tangled rainforest. Follow expert trackers as they slash paths through the dense undergrowth. The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours depending on where the gorillas nested the previous night.

    The Encounter: Spend a magical, uninterrupted 60 minutes standing just meters away from a wild mountain gorilla family. Watch the gentle silverback guard his troop, mothers nursing infants, and playful juveniles swinging from vines.
