Rubuguri Gorilla Adventures is a Ugandan-based tour company offering authentic and unforgettable travel experiences across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. Since 2019, we specialize in gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris, and cultural encounters that connect travelers to the beauty and diversity of East Africa.
At Rubuguri Gorilla Adventures Tours and Travel Limited, we don’t just organize safaris—we craft life-changing journeys. Named after the majestic peaks of the Rubuguri cone in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, our company was born from a shared passion: putting you face-to-face with the mountain gorillas of East Africa in the most responsible, intimate, and breathtaking way possible.
Over the past 7 years, we have worked closely with communities and support conservation efforts to protect endangered wildlife, preserve natural ecosystems and provide the best experiences to all our guests. Handling every aspect of your holiday: from the moment you arrive, Rubuguri gorilla adventure tours and travel ltd is there to receive you, taking you on a lifetime journey. We make sure that every part of your itinerary runs smoothly, from internal flights between destinations and transfers to and from your hotels, lodges and camps, to day tours and activities that show you the best of Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Meet and greet services
Our representatives meet you at your point of arrival and connect you with your guide for your onward journey. We can also arrange for fast-tracking through East African border to border immigration and luggage collection.
Ground handling and transfers
We have a fleet of luxury vehicles at our disposal including luxury SUVs, 4×4 safari vehicles, tour buses and people carriers. This allows us to transport you effortlessly wherever you go. We also do airport and airstrip pick-ups and drop offs.
Scheduled flights
We handle all hotel, lodge and safari camp reservations across Uganda and Rwanda, working with the best brands in the tourism business to ensure high quality accommodation, and exemplary levels of hospitality.

We are able to recommend local activities, restaurants, cultural interactions, and conservation-based animal sanctuaries and make reservations as required.

We offer the services of experienced and knowledgeable private guides for exclusive groups and can arrange for private charter flights, private vehicles and exclusive-use accommodation.
Specialist tours and safaris
We offer itineraries that cater to specific interests such as birding and photography and can arrange for specialist local guides to accompany these.

When Julius leads the way, you don’t just track gorillas—you enter their world as a respectful guest.
Together, Maryjoy and Julius built Rubuguri Gorilla Adventures to bridge the gap between luxury travel and raw wilderness. She handles the details. He delivers the drama. Both share a commitment to fair wages, eco-friendly practices, and giving back to the communities that protect the gorillas.
